Reservations and Inquiries Yuya Onsen has a long history, and the hot spring here was reputedly discovered by a legendary monk around 700 A.D. Natural hot springs feed our rotenburo (open-air bath) and public bath spaces. All baths face the forest and overlook the river, providing magnificent scenery to complement the soothing effects of the hot spring experience. For an added treat, please sip some of the complimentary local sake which awaits you at the rotenburo.
